Session 19 [Mon 081208] - Quiz/ Stage 3 Briefing/ Thumbnail Review/ InDesign Setup

Quiz
Postponed due to low turn out and late arrivals. Final quiz will now take place at the beginning of Session 20.

Stage 3 Briefing
For those who were not present for the final briefing, please read the Stage 3 brief carefully before next session if you hope to achieve a satisfactory finish.

Keep studying existing album art for interesting combinations of type and image, purely typographic designs, and pure image designs.

Thumbnail Review
Many thumbnail sketches are anticipated for Session 20. The best of your sketches need to go into production ASAP.

InDesign Setup
Time for a look at Packaging inDesign Files with Nate's early Stage 3 presentation [thankyou Nate].

Use InDesign as a sketchbook as shown earlier on in the term. Bring artwork [Photoshop] and final type solution [Illustrator] to the 12" x 12" file and start to compose based on the layout of your most interesting thumbnails.
